Remember the good old days when you could whip out your trusty Polaroid Instant Camera for an on the spot photo opportunity? Since the surge of digital cameras has taken place, trusty old friends like the instant cameras and 35mm are either filling the landfills of the world or are sitting in the closet collecting dust. A gentleman from France has come up with some nifty and down right usable freeware for the Mac and PC crowd to make you smile and hearken back to the days when life was a little bit simpler. The program is called Poladroid and allows you to drag and drop your digital photos and produce some pretty perfect Polaroid Instant Shots digitally on your computer. A band called Fat City Reprise has released a music video that is completely made up from 45,000 pictures taken with a Nikon D200 Digital SLR. My poor Nikon D70 hasn't even logged 2000 pictures, let alone 45,000. The person who took all the photos must have some serious repetitive stress injuries of the index finger kind. Check out the video embedded below. Not too bad.
